Manpower

When I searched for jobs in Madison, most of the jobs were listed under contract positions. There were also a few temporary and a few permanent positions listed. I noticed more of the permanent jobs required a degree and advanced technological skills like in Excel. Also, some of the temporary jobs even required a degree and also technological skills mainly on the computer. The contract jobs I looked at did not require a degree and relied more on machinery skills and physical work then computer programs.

I then searched under Oconomowoc and there were only two job listings under contract agreements for a warehouse. These jobs do not require any technical skills because they rely mostly on physical work. The pay seems to be decent but both jobs require long days and weird hours. These job listings are not appealing to me because they would not benefit me in the future.

I then searched under Milwaukee to find jobs and the search came up with 60 job openings. After researching the company more, I realized this is probably due to corporate being headquartered in Milwaukee. There was a wide range of permanent, temporary, and contract positions. There was the same type of variety in Milwaukee as there was in Madison.

I think Manpower has a variety of job openings for a wide range of people. Although in Oconomowoc, the jobs were limited, in other areas close to my hometown there were a ton of opportunities for permanent positions and temporary positions. I thought it was interesting how vague the position titles were though. Also, I noticed on there website only 40% of temporary positions get offered a permanent position which seems quite low.
