My first few posts were much longer and more textbook-esque information based than my later posts. Once I got more comfortable in the class with the TA and students, I was able to tone down the professionalism somewhat since I realized this is not a not so formal platform. I also was able to get my point across in a less wordy fashion. I think is most definitely a positive since no one wants to read a long paragraph that could've easily been stated in a sentence or two.
The professionalism I conducted early on is a good representation of who I am when looking at my school work. I never use slang words or "haha", "lol" or anything of that matter when I am doing scholarly work. However, these blog posts are not necessarily an accurate representation of who I am in real life. I am much more sarcastic and tend to joke around a lot, which you can't really perceive from analyzing the posts I have made regarding summary and analysis of articles relating to one of my college classes. I think my speech is the closest embodiment of who I actually am. Although speeches are supposed to be very professional, a hint of the person's mannerisms can be visible.
Reading through my old blog posts looking for errors, I only found a few, which is surprising. Typically, I am very good about grammar and punctuation in my written work for classes.
