Evolution of Writing

Throughout the semester I believe people got to see two sides of me: one side being edited me and the other side being the real me.

First, when people read my blog posts they got to see a side of me that was based on an assignment. I formed all of my opinions to conform with the assignments we were given. Therefore, my opinions were not necessarily that real because I edited them to answer the questions we were given and to try and get me a good grade on the assignment. This is why I do not believe that people could see the real me through the blog posts.

Second, in class we were given more free range in the discussion and this is where I believe people could see the real me. In discussion our only grade is based on participation, therefore I was not trying to form my answers to get a good grade. Also we were not given pointed questions, so I could answer with what I truly emotionally felt about the readings. For these reasons I believe that people could see the true me in discussions.
