Games

I decided to play the campus tour game as well. This game is a good idea as it can give someone who is unfamiliar with campus a good sense of where they are. I guess it was a game in the fact that you had to find different locations, but to me this isn't the ideal game. I can see this being played in some sort of freshman orientation group as it can make a basic tour a little more fun.

The platform itself was not that great and I struggled to use it. However, I was able to get past some glitches and it did not interfere with my use once it was figured out. One reccomendation I would make to the designers of the game would be to "gamify" it a little more and include the time it took you to find it compared to the average, who a certain number of points depending on how long it took you to reach the location.

Overall this was an interesting game and shows you just how many games there are out there and not everything is some high tech, or viral hit.

  1. I also struggled using many of the games. The most interesting factor of going on Aris was also my realization of all of the potential games available out there. I would have never found these games if Aris didn't make the ones in my area more accessible.
