The three books I found by searching "social media" all seemed very interesting to me. They were
Writing on the Wall: Social Media - The First 2,000 Years,
Status, and
I know who you are and I saw what you did: Social Networks and the Death of Privacy. After looking more closely at these books, I chose
I know who you are and I saw what you did: Social Networks and the Death of Privacy. This book was available in many more libraries than the other two and caused much more talk. When I read the reviews, this book seemed like something I would actually enjoy reading while it still holds a good topic for this class.
The book is about how everything we put out on social media can be used against us in some way in the future. It talks about how people are able to find information on others and things we thought we private are not whatsoever.
