I'm Rachel and I'm from a small town in Illinois called Island Lake. I love that not many people from my high school come to school here, it's been nice making new friends! I'm a sophomore majoring in psychology and zoology. However, I'm still not sure as to what I want to do after college.

This summer I visited my grandparents a couple times a week to help them out around the house. I have 2 nephews so I babysat them a lot this summer as well. I spent most of my weekends with my family at my summer house on Castle Rock Lake in Wisconsin. I also went to Summerfest, Country Thunder, and Lollapalooza.

This year I am living in my sorority house on Langdon, so hopefully this winter isn't too bad, my long walks to class are rough already!
Although I originally took this course to fulfill the comm-B requirement, I am very excited to learn more about the "information society". I am also looking forward to enhancing my public speaking skills!
I can't wait to get to know you all better!
Lollapalooza looks like a great time! I went to WeFest two years ago, and it was the best four days of my life. My brother lives in Chicago and I definitely want to visit him and go to lolla next summer.
