My name is Jillian Burnette and I am sophomore this year! I just found out this past summer that I was accepted into the Wisconsin School of Business and I will be pursuing a degree in Accounting. I am originally from Oconomowoc, Wi and it is always an adventure explaining how to pronounce and spell that to people. It is a town that is right in the middle of Madison and Milwaukee.I am excited to be back in Madison for this next year but also a bittersweet feeling leaving summer behind. When I'm not in class or studying, I love to spend most of my time outdoors, whether it's on the terrace, rollerblading on the trails, or heading to picnic point. I look forward to attending the Badger sporting events this year! So far, I've gone to football, basketball, and volleyball and hopefully this year I'll make it to a hockey game. During the school year, I volunteer for Badger Volunteers and I'm apart of the Marketing Fraternity called Mu Kappa Tau.
I am excited to get the school year going and look forward to what I have to learn in this class!
