Hi, I'm Nate Pond. I'm currently a sophomore here at UW. I came into Madison not knowing what I wanted to major in, but after freshman year I decided on Marketing. Both of my parents also majored in Marketing, but at UW - Whitewater. I'll be applying to the Wisconsin School of Business in the Spring.

I enjoy being busy, so in addition to my school work, I'm also involved in various other extra curricular activities. I'm a member of a fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, which is commonly called Fiji. Last year I was a part of a year-long charity event called Humorology. Humo, for short, is where a fraternity is paired with a sorority and the two houses collaborate to write and direct their own 20 minute musical. Throughout the year, we raised money through various ways which we then donated to a charity called the Boys and Girls Club. This upcoming year I will be writing and directing our show, which should be an exciting time considering I have never been in a play of any sort before last year. I'm also a member of both DECA and Sports Business Club. I also routinely play pick up games of basketball at the serf.
This past summer I had a few jobs. First, I babysat four boys. When I wasn't busy realizing I didn't want children, I worked as a stock person at a pool store. I also worked the Indiana State Fair selling some products from my mom's business.
I look forward to learning a lot in this class and hope to have a good semester with everyone.
