Emily McGann introduction

My name is Emily McGann. I am a sophomore from Western Springs, IL, a suburb of Chicago. I am not sure what I am going to study, but I will most likely major in spanish and something else to be determined.
This summer was not most exciting for me but I still enjoyed it! I spent my time at home where I worked at Jimmy Johns as both inshop and as a delivery driver (to answer your questions, yes I was indeed freak fast!) It was great to be home with family, friends and my puppy, Addy!

Some of the highlights of my summer were: going to the Michigan dunes, spending multiple days in the city of Chicago, conquering the new roller coaster at Six Flags Great America and going indoor skydiving.

My favorite thing to do is to play soccer. On campus, I am a member of the women's club soccer team and I love every minute of it!

I also am a member of a service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, on campus. I enjoy helping others and getting involved through this group! I have been able to volunteer all over campus, whether it be at the river food pantry, or at badger sporting events!

Another group I love being a part of on campus is cheese club! I feel like this is self-explanatory, I mean, it's cheese and we are in Wisconsin...

I am looking forward to this class because I think it will be very interesting. It is unlike any other class I have taken thus far and I am interested in discovering why it is such a recommended course.  I am also looking forward to working with other students and hearing new opinions, and just to learn new material in general! And I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
