Evan Gaviglio Introduction

Hello, my name is Evan Gaviglio and I'm a sophomore here at UW. I am planning on majoring in finance and maybe going to law school after graduation. I am from Wyckoff, New Jersey, which is a small suburb 12 miles from New York City. I am a long way from home, but I have a lot of family who live in Wisconsin which makes it feel closer to home.

I have enjoyed my time here at school so far and have been keeping busy between my school work and playing on the club lacrosse team. I have played lacrosse for over ten years and it is great to be able to continue playing here at school.

I am looking forward to LIS 201 as it covers a topic that is a huge part of all of our daily lives, yet is rarely taught in school. This classes unique format including this blog seems like a good change of pace and should make this class very enjoyable. I am also looking forward to working on my public speaking skills as that is important in just about every career you can have.
